The Woman Infants and Children's (WIC) Program Offers Saturday Clinic Hours
The Columbus Health Department is now offering services for WIC participants one Saturday each month from 8 am to 4 pm. Services include:
- Certification and re-certification of clients
- 3 month voucher issuance
- Nutrition Education
The clinic for February 2011 will be Saturday February 19, 2011. Call 706-321-6280 for an appointment or more information. Clients who have not picked up vouchers for February are encouraged to come in. Clients scheduled to pick up for March may also pick up on this date. Walk – Ins are welcome.
The Women Infant’s and Children’s Program provides vouchers for supplemental food, nutrition education and breast feeding support for pregnant women, infants and children up to age 5.
